When we are stuck and continue to have negative patterns we cannot experience life fully. It appears that our emotions run our lives, everything feels unpredictable, and the future feels uncertain. When this happens, deeper exploration in therapy helps us to become aware, understand our strengths, discover new strategies, and become whole and lighthearted.
Depression, fear and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotional states we can experience. Through counseling and treatment, we are able to start coping, become motivated, make meaning, and recover the joy that we once had in our life.
This pair usually shows up together, and they have strong influence on each other. Working on self-esteem positively impacts our emotional well-being, and allows us to start believing in our strengths and resilient nature.
Many of us experience grief in our lives for many different reasons. Our society is not always able to handle all our individual needs for grieving and may not understand and accommodate the depths to which we need to go. We will walk this road together as we are reminded that this is a ritual that is best shared with someone that understands in warm presence.
Life transitions are tough. Sometimes we plan for them, other times they come upon us when we are unaware. Feeling overwhelmed can require us to talk things out so that we may gain clarity, and to find new purpose and motivation. Then we can discover what we may grow beyond and need to let go.
